WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Madison stars as Avery in upcoming Netflix musical family drama film, A Week Away, which is set to premiere on the platform this Friday, March 26th. While his initial instinct is to run, he ends up finding a friend, a father figure, and even a special girl (Madison) who all manage to awaken his heart and change his mind. But, most of all, in this camp he finally finds a home where he never thought to even look for one in the first place.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Although she is still young, Madison has already amassed 15 years and counting working as an actress, and has accrued an extensive list of great credits along the way. But it all began back in 2006 with her professional onscreen debut playing Rainelle Downing in 2006 neo-noir film Lonely Hearts. From there, she appeared in movies like 2007 coming-of-age fantasy adventure Bridge to Terabithia, made-for-TV drama Saving Sarah Cain, and 2008 drama Phoebe in Wonderland, as well as in popular series like CSI: NYHouseUnfabulous, and Cory in the House before her first big break in 2009 psychological drama Brothers, for which earned nominations for a Critics’ Choice Award and a Saturn Award.

Within the next couple of years, Madison was on a tear, racking up memorable roles in films like 2010 horror Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, 2011 rom-com Just Go With It, and 2012 comedy Parental Guidance, and recurring roles in popular TV shows like The Haunting Hour: The Series, Wizards of Waverly PlaceOnce Upon a TimeTrophy WifeThe Fosters, and Good Witch. The actress has also appeared in movies like 2012 family flick Cowgirls ‘n Angels, 2017 family film A Cowgirl’s Story (on which she was also a producer), and 2018 psychological slasher The Strangers: Prey at Night, and had guest and one-off appearances in well-known series like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, American Dad!, and Mulaney. With a filmography this extensive and diverse, it’s clear that Madison has the talent, work ethic, and staying power to hang around in the entertainment industry for years to come, and to leave a lasting mark on it, while she’s at it.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Luckily, you won’t have to be waiting too much longer to see more from Madison. She has recently been announced as a cast member in upcoming horror movie, The Pool, in which a pool party in a luxury cliff top house becomes a desperate fight for survival when the beloved family dog turns rabid. It sounds like a terrifying good film, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for The Pool as it moves further along in the development process.
