We finally have a Rick and Morty Season 5 premiere date. Today, Adult Swim announced that the Season 5 premiere of the series will launch on Sunday, June 20 at 11/10c p.m. Additionally, Adult Swim dropped a trailer for this new season. It’s an announcement so exciting it practically feels like a holiday, which is fitting: Adult Swim has also declared June 20 to be Rick and Morty Day.

But what exactly is Rick and Morty Day? According to a press release from the network, “Rick and Morty fans – from around the world – can get a megadose of access and content of all things Rick and Morty during RICK AND MORTY DAY, an out of this world celebration with sneak peeks, behind the scenes footage and special surprises across TV, digital and social, kicking off the global premieres of the new season.”

Basically clear out your calendars on that Sunday. It’s certainly going to be a must watch. To add to the inevitable excitement, the network also dropped the much-anticipated Season 5 trailer. Thanks to Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, Decider has learned that this new season will contain some major canon-changing moments. The trailer doesn’t seem to tease any of these new developments, but ooh wee, is it fun! There are nods to Hellraiser, Blade, and old school Voltron in the trailer. We also get a better look at Rick’s previously unknown nemesis, the sea-bound Mr. Nimbus.

Created by Roiland and Dan Harmon, Rick and Morty has quickly become one of the most popular shows on all of television. It’s not difficult to understand why. The animated comedy wonderfully mashes silly sci-fi nonsense with gut-wrenching examinations of love, grief, and self-hatred. It’s BoJack meets Futurama, and it just works. The series stars Roiland (Solar Opposites), Sarah Chalke (Firefly Lane), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), and Spencer Grammer (Greek). You can bet come June 20 we’ll be ready for Rick and Morty Day, portal guns in hand.
