Easter Sunday marked the second season premiere of The Chosen.
Purported to be the largest crowd-funded media project of all time, The Chosen is the first multi-season series about the life of Christ. The first two seasons of the series are fully funded, and the show’s website states that the plan is to produce seven total seasons, which seems like a lot but the global premiere of the second season has already accumulated over 1.2 million streams on YouTube.
The second season is fully funded and Season 3, which is scheduled to begin filming in July of 2021, is planning on a late 2021 release. But back to the current season. How can you watch The Chosen Season 2? Is The Chosen on Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know.
IS THE CHOSEN SEASON 2 ON NETFLIX?
Nope. Unfortunately, The Chosen isn’t available to stream on Netflix.
IS THE CHOSEN SEASON 2 ON HULU?
That’s a negative. The series isn’t currently available to watch on Hulu.
WHERE TO WATCH THE CHOSEN SEASON 2:
Every episode of The Chosen is available to stream for free on the Angel Studios website, the BYUtv website, The Chosen YouTube page, and VidAngel. You can also watch the series via The Chosen TV app, which is available on iTunes and Google Play. You can stream The Chosen app on Roku, iOS, Firestick, and more.
The Chosen website notes that Season 2 episodes will be available in the app after they premiere, but it’s “still being decided” if future Season 2 episodes will be available on YouTube and Facebook.

Yep. Season 1 of The Chosen is currently available to stream on Peacock.
WHEN WILL THE CHOSEN SEASON 2, EPISODE 2 AIR?
*** UPDATE (4/13/21): Episode 2 will air live on the show’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET. ***
The show’s website states that “the rest of [Season 2] will be released weekly and available in the app after they premiere.” The first season was released in two separate four-episode blocks, but the previous statement makes it appear as if Season 2 will be a weekly release, meaning Episode 2 would, presumably, be available on Sunday, April 11. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Decider reached out for clarification and were told that the series doesn’t currently have a Season 2 release schedule, and that episodes will be released “as the editing process is complete.” The best way to stay up to date is to continue to check The Chosen app.
