The second season of Godfather of Harlem starts on April 18 and is based on Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whittaker), boss of the Harlem mob, returning to his swanky home uptown from a 10 year stretch at Alcatraz. According to Joel Keller’s Stream It or Skip It review, “It’s not the epic period series you might think it is, but Godfather Of Harlem has fine performances and mostly sharp writing, making good use of the real-life historical figures that are the show’s characters.”
In addition, you’ll be able to stream two full seasons of the crime drama Pennyworth, which is the origin story of Batman’s butler, Alfred Pennyworth–by Gotham creator Bruno Heller.
