Where to Watch ‘Girls5Eva’

Girls5Eva, the new sitcom created by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt writer Meredith Scardino and executive produced by Tina Fey, is finally here! The show, which stars singer Sara Bareilles, Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, and Busy Phillips, is the story of an all-girl pop group from the ’90s, Girls5Eva, as they reunite thanks to a renewed interest in their music.

The thing is, it’s 20 years later and a lot of their music is problematic, and they’re not ideal pop stars anymore. In the group’s quest to be relevant again, they set out to write a new single. While much of the music on the show was written by composer Jeff Richmond and the show’s writing staff, Bareilles also contributed to the soundtrack with the song “4 Stars.” The soundtrack for the series is also available today.
