Tired of shopping for and ordering last-minute Mother’s Day gifts? Why not give busy delivery services a well-needed rest and get mom something she really needs—a reason to sit on the couch and do nothing.

With movie theaters just getting back up to speed, giving your mom the gift of streaming video services is the perfect way to show you care. From Netflix to Hulu to Disney+ to Apple TV+, there are so many streaming names to choose from—and so little time.

Sure, she may think she has enough to watch, but we’re positive there are holes in her streaming service line-up. And let’s face it, mom should have access to all the most talked about movies and TV shows. Here’s what you need to know about all the best, last minute streaming service gift services for Mother’s Day 2021 before you hit “subscribe.”

In addition to ad-free movies and series from the Walt Disney collection, Disney also gives parents and fans of all ages access to Pixar, plus the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, National Geographic and even 20th Century Fox content like The Simpsons.  Plus, mom is going to want to binge the newest original series everyone is talking about, like Wandavision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Currently, you can get Disney+ for $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year. If you want to take advantage of the streaming bundle deal, you can also get Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ for $13.99 a month.

Netflix is still the largest streaming service in the world, with over 180 million subscribers. If you have Netflix but mom does not, you can instantly purchase a Netflix gift card, available online via major retailers, and send that along this Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9. Netflix will then deduct monthly charges according to the recipient’s wishes. Current monthly plans range from $8.99 for basic (one device, standard definition) to standard $13.99 (two screens at a time, with downloading options, in HD) to premium for $17.99 (four screens at a time, and Ultra HD 4K capabilities).

No, you can’t buy or send an electronic Hulu gift subscription, but you can buy Mom a Hulu gift card, available via major retailers online like Walmart and Best Buy. All your recipient has to do is redeem the card on Hulu. Though its most buzzed about original hits are the The Handmaid’s Tale and Cruel Summer, Hulu is now the perfect place for her to keep up with her favorite TV shows from almost all the major broadcast and cable networks, save CBS. Current pricing ranges from $5.99 month for basic Hulu with ads ($11.99 without ads), $64.99 per month for Hulu with the Live TV channel package.

Or, if you just want to add Apple TV Plus to an existing smartTV or streaming device, you can purchase an Apple gift card to cover the $4.99 a month subscription fee.

Paramount Plus

Earlier this year, ViacomCBS unveiled its new streaming service Paramount+, which officially took over for CBS All Access. The new Paramount+ service features content from CBS All Access, CBS, Showtime, BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Pluto TV, and more company brands. The new service also features hundreds of thousands of hours of content, including 30,000 episodes of TV, 2,500 films, and over 1,000 live sporting events, as well as 24/7 news coverage from CBSN and CBS affiliates. That’ll keep mom busy for a while. ViacomCBS is offering two different pricing tiers: a premium plan priced at $9.99/month, and an ad-supported plan for $5.99/month–and you can buy and download a digital $100 gift card for Mother’s Day right now at Best Buy for her to take it for a test run.
