The boys and girls of the smash Netflix series Outer Banks are coming back for Season 2. Yes, this teen dream of a drama set in the coastal holiday mecca of Outer Banks, NC, will be back this summer in all its treasure hunting, Millennial angst, Pogues vs Kooks glory (stay gold, Ponyboy).
Last season’s cliffhanger, which had to do with murderous dads, tropical storms and gold grifting, will be addressed when Outer Banks returns, with John B and Sarah on the run after they nearly bit it on their way to nab that $400 million treasure in the Bahamas.
Creators and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke think the new season will test the Outer Banks crew like never before. “We’ve turned up the dial on everything fans loved about season one – more mystery, more romance and higher stakes. It’s a full throttle, action-packed adventure and these photos offer a glimpse into the next chapter for our Pogues. All we can say for now is buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.”
