She’s welcomed by a select handful, but unwelcomed by many, and struggles to adapt to the harsh English customs that are expected of her. When Arthur dies quite suddenly, she’s forced to bridge the gap between England and Spain alone.

Helen Mirren stars as Catherine the Great in this short series, which debuted just a few years ago. 'Poldark'
