Zack Snyder Norse Mythology Series ‘Twilight of the Gods’ Releases Cast List

After tackling the zombie universe on Netflix, Zack Snyder is taking on Norse mythology. The cast for his upcoming series, Twilight of the Gods, has just been announced. Lord of the Rings alum John Noble is set to helm the series as Odin, God of wisdom, with The Beach‘s Paterson Joseph as Loki, God of mischief. The series, which will be an anime based on Norse mythology, released its first look during Netflix’s Geeked Week event today.

Other than being based on traditional mythology, there’s, unfortunately, no further information about the series. Today, Netflix solely announced the slew of the show’s cast and which characters they’ll be playing.

Along with Noble and Joseph, other casting includes Corey Stoll as Hranfnkel, Kristopher Hivju as Andvari, Pilou Asbæk as Thor, Peter Stormare as Ulfr, Stuart Matin as Leif, Sylvia Hoeks as Sigrid, Rahul Kohli as Egill, Jamie Clayton as The Seid-Kona, and Lauran Cohan as Inge.

Snyder is serving as executive producer as the series, and at the moment, his role does not seem to extend past that. Digital Dimension is the studio behind the show. Twilight of the Gods marks Snyder’s second animated project with Netflix, alongside the Army of the Dead spinoff series that was announced earlier this year. Netflix is certainly keeping the filmmaker busy!

Stay tuned for the release date, trailer, and more of Twilight of the Gods.
