Summer is finally here, which probably means you’ve been craving a show as relaxed as you want to be. On that front, HBO has the perfect pick for you. This June marks the return of Betty, the network’s Gen Z skating comedy.

Betty, a show about skating friends trying to make it in this male-dominated hobby, isn’t like most shows. There aren’t intensely high stakes or deep betrayals. Instead, it separates itself as a peaceful reflection on friendship that’s as chill as its often-stoned characters. Here’s how you can watch Betty Season 2 on HBO.

When Does Betty Season 2 Premiere?

Now’s a great time to break out your board. The second season of HBO’s skating series premieres this Friday, June 11. New episodes of the comedy will premiere on Friday nights.

You can watch Betty this Friday night. If you want to watch it live, either make sure your TV is set to HBO or make sure your HBO username and password are logged in. Boom, you’re all set. What’s Betty Season 2 About?

Crystal Moselle’s skater comedy revolves around a group of skater friends who just want to be treated with as much respect as the men in their sport. Season 1 was all about discovery. The first six episodes of the series saw these skating women meet each other and slowly start to become friends. That friendship was cemented in “Ladies on Fire”, an episode that saw Kirt’s (Nina Moran) dreams of an all-girl skating group come true.

Season 2 will probably focus on the expansion of this group. There’s also new dynamics to consider. Toward the end of last season, Honeybear (Kabrina Adams) got into a fight with her girlfriend and Indigo (Ajani Russell) moved in with Camille (Rachelle Vinberg). Basically things may be changing, but life’s still chill in this relaxed world.
