Good Vibes Only: The Queens of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ Season 6 Spread the Love

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is coming in hot with a brand new season on a brand new network—or, rather, streaming service. The queens of All Stars 6 will star, stunt, and sashay on Paramount+ this time around. And with another season of Drag Race comes another season of Werk Room shade and Untucked dust-ups that will give us enough memes to last until, apparently, Drag Race UK Season 3 comes out this fall.

But what you may not realize by just watching this television show is that these queens are family. They can talk to each other like that because they’ve been through it, all of it, with each other. That energy makes for great television, and it also brings these queens close together—which is good, because they’re all forever linked by this season of All Stars.

Ahead of the All Stars 6 premiere, Decider got the chance to chat with this fierce cast. And since we know we’re gonna get plenty of drama on TV, we wanted to keep a tradition going and ask each queen about the traits and talents that make their All Stars 6 sisters so fierce. After all, a little bit of love goes a long, long way—!

Jiggly Caliente: Oh, Ginger. What’s the fiercest thing about Ginger? The fiercest thing about Ginger is her fucking wit. She’s so quick and that’s something I definitely admire. It’s that wit, bitch! Damn, she’s so quick! I hate it.

Ginger Minj: Well, I learned very young that if you can’t run your legs you run your mouth. I think the fiercest thing about Jiggly is… trying to figure out the best way to say it. It’s horrible, is what I’m trying to say. No, the fiercest thing about Jiggly is her authenticity. That’s the best way to say it. She is at a point in her life where she’s not afraid to just be who she is, whether people like it or not. And I think that there’s something that is so comforting about watching that in somebody else. It kind of gives you the confidence and the courage to go and try to be that yourself. Jiggly is definitely one of the people that inspires me daily to just authentically be me.

Jiggly Caliente: I love you, friend.

Ginger Minj: That was a total lie.

Silky Nutmeg Ganache / Scarlet Envy / Pandora Boxx

Silky Nutmeg Ganache: I think the fiercest thing about Scarlet is… that she was from my season, on Season 11—

Scarlet Envy: [Laughs] That’s the fiercest thing about me? That I was—

Silky Nutmeg Ganache: Yes. No—

Scarlet Envy: You’re right, it was a fierce season. [Laughs]

Silky Nutmeg Ganache: And you know, I had to compliment you and then compliment myself, too.

Scarlet Envy: Yeah, I know. [Laughs]

Silky Nutmeg Ganache: And what Pandora Boxx is—you know, the most fierce thing about her is her box. And I know for sure, because she helped me decorate my box.

Pandora Boxx: I think that the thing about Silky and Scarlet is they’re both beautiful, they’re fabulous entertainers, and they bring it. They always are amazing and I I feel lucky and fortunate to compete with them in All Stars 6 because I adore them.

Scarlet Envy: I think the fiercest thing about Pandora is that she is one of the funniest drag queens of all time. You’re an iconic comedy queen… on purpose. And I think the best thing about Silky is that she’s iconically a comedy queen… less on purpose, but still fucking loved and adored and funny and wonderful. I think one of the best things about both of you is comedy. People love to laugh and you’re both right at the sweet spot of making people feel good and make people laugh, and it’s great.

Pandora Boxx: I hate laughing.

Scarlet Envy: A little Botox fixes [the wrinkles] right out, it doesn’t matter.

Pandora Boxx: You just gotta laugh without crinkling the corners of your eyes.

Eureka! / A'keria C. Davenport / Jan

Eureka!: Honestly, with these two girls, it’s their looks and their personality. I have to say like, A’keria is always full of joy and fun and fabulous. Girl, she’ll have you kiki-ing. And Jan is always positive and ready to get the work done. She’s just high energy but also nice to be around. She’s someone you want to work with because she’s enjoyable to work with.

A’keria C. Davenport: No matter what is going on, it could be a natural disaster and I know if I call anybody, Jan’s going to have some type of positivity, some type of silver lining with the situation. I feed off energy also, so I knew Eureka was going to bring the energy. I knew Jan was gonna bring energy. They’re both fabulous. They’re both great queens, but at the same time, they’re so much fun. I hate being around queens who, they look good but that’s it. It goes beyond that with these two girls. It honestly does go beyond their looks. Their personalities are to die for for two different reasons. I mean, Jan is the positivity and the spirit. Jan is my cheerleader. Jan is gonna always be the cheerleader—versus Eureka. She’s the girl that I’m going to—I don’t drink beer, but you know, if I did drink beer, we’re going to drink a beer, we’re going to read a few girls, and then we’re just going to have a chat about the situation. And we’re going to eat good also.

Jan: I can say this for both of these two, and I genuinely mean this: I think that these two, there’s nothing that they literally cannot do in drag looks or personalities. They make me laugh and fucking cackle and they bring so much joy. And what I love about these two is that they keep it 100 and they keep it absolutely real. And I appreciate that as somebody who is, you know, a little more new to this. I’m the spring chicken off [Season 12], and these girls kept it real. And not only that, they helped me elevate my drag because I see the excellence that they bring. They’re always so refined, such a joy to work with. They know what they want, work hard to get it, and there’s nothing that I respect more than hard work and knowing what you want to get. And that’s these two.

Trinity K. Bonet / Serena ChaCha / Kylie Sonique Love / Ra'Jah D. O'Hara

Trinity K. Bonet: Ra’Jah is one of the best on-the-spot seamstresses I’ve seen—and I’m waiting on him to make me some stuff because we the same size. Kylie is an absolute woman. Extremely caring, very a mother figure, talented and down to Earth. Can’t really say much bad about Kylie. And Serena is inspirational, a business owner. She took an opportunity and she ran with it, like most of us don’t do, and has built her own little empire.

Serena ChaCha: I love everybody. I mean, it’s so refreshing to be in a group where we have someone like Kylie, who is such a huge figure in the trans community because it makes me feel part of that movement with someone that’s so kind and loving. The love, you cannot deny it. She is walking love, seriously. Ra’Jah is, I think, one of my most supportive sisters, just like the big sister everybody wishes to have. She’s fierce and she will make you better. But then she’ll also dig into the the deepest side of you that perhaps you’re kind of denying to yourself, and it’s like, “Okay, thank you sis. I needed that even though I’m probably gonna deny it for a minute, but I’m gonna go with it.” And Trinity is extremely talented. I mean, just her personality in and out of drag is something that the show definitely needs and wants to see again and again. So it’s amazing to be a part of this this group.

Kylie Sonique Love: For me, well Trinity—a lot of people don’t know this, but I’m from Atlanta and I watched Trinity as a baby queen. I think she was like, what, 15, 16? When you were sneaking in the clubs? I had no idea. So I feel like I’ve known her—probably out of all the girls on All Stars, I’ve known Trinity the longest. And it’s just so wonderful to see how far she’s come and how she’s developed and finessed who she is. You are amazing onstage. No one could and can touch you and your ideas, putting clothes and stuff together. You’re an amazing stylist and I absolutely love that about you. Serena, like Trinity was saying, you just being an entrepreneur and going out there and creating your own business. You work so hard. When we were doing a promo and you were running your business while you were also trying to prepare for our photoshoot. I don’t know how you don’t just, like, pass the fuck out! I would lose my mind. For me, Ra’Jah is a kindred spirit to me. I knew, just watching her on TV, I was like, that’s gonna be my friend. She doesn’t know it yet. And then meeting her in person, I was just like, she’s just such a kindred spirit to me. And I’m just so grateful that we got to share this opportunity together. I really just absolutely love her.

Ra’Jah D. O’Hara: Okay, now I don’t like nobody on this call. [Laughs] No, I’m joking. I absolutely admire Serena’s work ethic for sure. I love the fact that she is a ball of energy. She’s always going. Trinity: most definitely her stage presence. If there’s anything that anybody can learn from Trinity, it’s how to maneuver a stage because baby, that woman is an entertainer through and through. She is talented. And prior to me actually even actually knowing Trinity personally, I admired her as an entertainer first. So that’s what I love about her. And then Kylie Sonique for sure, for me, now that we know each other, now that we’ve had this bond, it’s her heart. For me, it’s her heart. I live for everything about that lady from head to T. We also share the same measurements, so I love her wardrobe, okay?
