Meet Lexi Wilson, ‘Below Deck Med’s Bahamas Beauty Queen

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 is now underway, and it didn’t take long for some of these crew members to make quite a splash. If you’re intrigued by chief stew Katie Flood, you can read Decider’s interview with her here. But if you’re wondering about second stew Lexi Wilson, here’s what you need to know.

Lexi is originally from the Bahamas and in 2013 represented the country in the Miss Universe pageant. You should also know, she’s the kind of contestant that says she doesn’t really tell people about her pageant days, but then totally tells everyone about her pageant days. Hell, I know I would if I were her!

She came to the US for college on a Track and Field scholarship, and according to her Bravo bio, it’s while she was in Florida that she met a yacht captain and, as they say, the rest is history.

Though her time on the show may also go down in history if the trailer is any indication. In a brief interaction, we see Katie say to Lexi, as she’s perched in the galley, “Right now I’m pissed off with you,” and Lexi responds, “I don’t care, I’m leaving,” before speaking into her phone, “Hey mom, I’m quitting this boat.”

Is Lexi Wilson of Below Deck on Instagram?
If you aren’t watching new episodes of Below Deck Med, which air Monday nights at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo (with new episodes available to stream one week early on Peacock), you can still follow her, including her latest athletic adventures and world travels, on her Instagram: @TheOnlyLexiWilson.

In Episode 2, we learn more about Lexi’s family and her pageant days, and exactly how much a little phone call to her mom can go a long way. She also teaches viewers a very important lesson about always being nice to the chef — though she doesn’t seem to take her own advice for too long…
