Hulu’s HAHA Awards Are Back to Celebrate Adult Animation [Exclusive]

If you love Hulu for its surplus of adult animated comedies, then prepare to get excited and a bit competitive. Hulu has announced the nominees for its second annual HAHA Awards, its all-animated awards honoring the best Hulu has to offer. Get ready to vote for you favorite characters, shows, duos, burps, and more.

The HAHA Awards were first started in July of 2020. According to Hulu, last year nearly 40 percent of subscribers watched adult animation every month. So why not celebrate the shows that have brought us all so much joy? Last time Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, and Solar Opposites all tied for having the most awards, with two each. Altogether over 400,000 cast votes for their favorite shows. But really, we’re the winners here because we can stream these great shows whenever we want.

“The HAHA Awards showed us last year that adult animation fans are very passionate about their favorite shows, scenes and characters,” said Michael Schneider, VP of Brand, Live and Licensed Marketing, Hulu. “We’re excited to honor the best of the best in this genre for a second year, and continue to curate the largest collection of animated hits with shows like Solar Opposites, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers.”

This time around this very silly awards show is here with 10 new categories. And so far Duncanville is leading the nominations pack. The way voting works is simple. Between today, July 13, and Thursday, July 22 Hulu subscribers and non-subscribers can visit Hulu.com/HAHA to vote for their favorites. Then on Monday, July 26 the winners will be announced. As an added bonus, all of the winning shows and scenes will be made available in Hulu’s Adult Animation Hub.
