‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Is Now Streaming on Paramount+

If you missed A Quiet Place Part II when the horror sequel debuted in theaters at the end of May—whether due to the COVID-19 pandemic or some other previous engagement—then here’s some good news: A Quiet Place Part II is now streaming free to U.S. subscribers on Paramount+, the streaming service formerly known as CBS All Access.

Like many other studios scrambling to adapt to movie theater shutdowns in the face of the pandemic, earlier this year, Paramount Pictures—the studio behind A Quiet Place—announced a plan to shorten the theatrical release of its biggest upcoming titles. Highly anticipated titles including A Quiet Place Part II and Mission Impossible 7 would play in theaters for about 45 days before heading to the Paramount streaming service, Paramount+. That’s good news for everyone who is now able to (silently) watch A Quiet Place Part II in the comfort of their own homes.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place Part II picks up where the 2018 horror film left off. Blind monsters with hypersensitive hearing are still terrorizing the planet, and the Abbott family must remain deadly quiet to survive. Plus, Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) now has a newborn baby, and no father to help her. How will she and her children (Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe) get out alive this time? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out, but it probably has something to do with Cillian Murphy, who joins the cast as a new character named Emmett, a former family friend.

Paramount+ offers a premium plan priced at $9.99/month or an ad-supported plan for $5.99/month. Either will get you access to A Quiet Place Part II. If you’re not ready to add another streaming service to your budget, you can also now rent A Quiet Place Part II for $19.99 on premium video-on-demand on Amazon, iTunes, YouTube, FandangoNow, or wherever you prefer to rent digital content. And if you prefer your movies in hard-copy, you will be able to buy A Quiet Place Part II on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD beginning on July 27. No matter how you watch it, just remember to stay very, very quiet.
