If you’re craving a sweeping British romance, then Netflix has got you covered with The Last Letter From Your Lover, the new Netflix original film coming to the streaming service this weekend.

Based on the 2012 novel of the same name written by Jojo Moyes, this love story is actually two love stories that take place in two different timelines. Felicity Jones stars as Ellie Haworth, a young journalist living in present-day London who uncovers a series of love letters from the 1960s. Ellie becomes obsessed with the subjects of the letters, a socialite named Jennifer (Shailene Woodley) and a financial journalist named Anthony (Callum Turner). As Ellie uncovers the lovers’ passionate affair in the present day, she also finds some love of her own.

Directed by Augustine Frizzell, with an adapted screenplay written by Nick Payne and Esta Spalding, this movie promises to make your heart ache and swoon in all of the best ways. If you live in the U.S. and other select territories, then The Last Letter From Your Lover will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, July 23. If you live in the United Kingdom and Ireland, then the film will not be available on Netflix, and will instead be released in theaters on August 6.
