As exciting as it always is to see new episodes of Archer, this season comes with a sad asterisk. In March, Jessica Walter passed away, making this season one of the iconic actor’s last performances. When Will Archer Season 12 Premiere?
The best (or worst, depending on your perspective) spies on television are back. Season 12 of Archer premieres on FXX this Wednesday, August 25 with its first two episodes. Shane Kosakowski’s “Identity Crisis” will be immediately followed by writer Shana Gohd’s “Lowjacked.”
What’s that, you say? You’re planning to watch on Hulu instead of cable? In that case Thursdays are your danger zone. That’s when new episodes of Archer come to FX on Hulu.
What Time Does Archer Season 12 Come On?
It may be a new season, but we’re looking at the same release time. The first episode of Archer Season 12 premieres on FXX this Wednesday, August 25 at 10/9c p.m. It will then be immediately followed by Episode 2 at 10:30/9:30c p.m.
If you’re watching this new season on Hulu, you have a slightly different time to keep in mind. New episodes of Archer come to FX on Hulu Thursdays starting at 5:01/4:01c a.m. If you don’t see the episodes appear right away, don’t panic. Sometimes it takes a couple of refreshes for episodes to load.
How Many Episodes Are in Archer Season 12?
Altogether there will be eight episodes in this installment. But we only know the premiere dates for the first six. Here’s your guide to the schedule so far:

Want to watch new episodes of Archer before the Twitter gifs? You’re going to need either cable or a live TV skinny bundle. For cable, just turn your TV to FXX before 10 p.m. ET, and you’re golden. You can even use your cable username and password to watch new episodes live via FX’s site and apps.
Does that option not apply to you? There’s the world of live TV skinny bundles to consider. At the moment YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling TV all come with FXX.
You do have one final option if neither of these work. Because of FX on Hulu, new episodes of FX and FXX shows appear on Hulu the day after they premiere. You can expect Archer’s first two episodes to land on Hulu around 5:01/4:01c a.m. on Thursday, August 26. Don’t see them right away? Hit refresh and they should appear.
