Can you believe it’s been over a year since the last new episode of Billions aired on Showtime? A YEAR?! Thankfully, the wildly popular Paul Giamatti/Damian Lewis returns tonight (September 5) with the first of five new episodes. If your memory is a little foggy, Showtime put together a tidy two-minute video recapping the first seven episodes of the fifth season.

Tonight’s episode (“Copenhagen”) centers on our beloved Wags trying to dig up dirt on Mike Prince (Corey Stoll), Chuck looking for alternative methods to save his father, and Wendy and Tanner (Frank Grillo) finding themselves at odds after a trip to Axe Cap. I’ve seen the episode and I loved it. I never 100% know what’s going on when I’m watching Billions, but I always enjoy the ride. It’s the Billions way.

Season 5 Part 2 of Billions premieres tonight (September 5) from 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET on Showtime. An encore of the episode airs at 11:30 p.m. ET.

HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN BILLIONS SEASON 5?

The fifth season of Billions consists of 12 episodes, which means that Season 5, Part 2 consists of five total episodes.

WAIT, THIS ISN’T BILLIONS SEASON 6?

Nope. But you don’t have to worry about Season 5 being the show’s final run. Back in October of 2020, Showtime renewed Billions for a sixth season.
