How to Watch ‘The View’ Season 25

The View begins celebrating its silver anniversary today, welcoming some of our favorite ladies in daytime TV back for Season 25 of the hit talk show. Get ready for hot topics, huge guest stars, and a few shake-ups on this season of the ABC series. We’re ready to talk you through every step of the way as The View begins what could be one of the most exciting seasons yet.

Any fan of the talk show should notice that the panel is down one host this season — that’s because controversial co-host Meghan McCain has exited the series, opening up a slot for a new conservative voice to take a seat. And The View hasn’t selected a new permanent host quite yet; instead, they’re “taking a little time” to fill the slot, featuring guest co-hosts like Condoleezza Rice and Carly Fiorina to step in while they find someone more permanent. We’re in for a wild ride!

This season, The View will also start saying TGIF with “Flashback Fridays.” The women will welcome back co-hosts from season’s past, kicking things off with Star Jones at the end of this week. So, who knows? Maybe McCain will make an appearance after all. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Here’s everything you need to know about watching The View‘s silver anniversary season:

When will The View be back on? The View Season 25 start date:

The View is back on today, Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. ET. And it’ll be back for quite awhile, as the summer hiatus has finally wrapped, so keep tuning in on weekday mornings at 11/10c to watch.

What channel is The View on? Where to watch The View Season 25:

The View airs every weekday on ABC. If you’re seated in front of a TV, just switch the channel to your local ABC. Not watching on television? Keep reading to find out how to watch online.

Is The View streaming live online? Where to watch The View online:

If you want to watch The View online, all you’ll have to do is head on over to ABC’s website and log in with your cable credentials. Don’t have cable credentials? There’s a fix for that too.

For those without a cable log-in, if you want to watch The View live online, you’ll need to subscribe to a premium streaming service such as Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, or AT&T TV Now. You can watch ABC live on any of those services, or use the log-in credentials over at ABC’s website linked above.

Is The View back in the studio? Can you watch The View live again?

Huge news: after over a year of filming in isolation, the co-hosts are back together again, shooting live in their New York studio. We’ll finally get to see the ladies bicker (and have less-tense conversations, too) without any technical difficulties. This is part of the reason why McCain had to make her exit, as she now lives in Washington, D.C.

But that means you can actually watch The View live in studio, if you’re lucky enough to be in New York and free weekday mornings. Head on over to 1iota to snag free tickets to see The View live in-studio.

Who is on the Season 25 panel for The View?

Whoopi Goldberg returns as moderator, with Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Sara Haines also back as the show’s co-hosts. Ana Navarro reprises her role as the substitute for the ladies when they have to miss a taping.

Who is the new host of The View replacing Meghan McCain?

At the moment, ABC has yet to announce the permanent co-host set to replace McCain. Folks are still speculating that it could be Navarro, who subs in for the ladies of The View when they’re out — or perhaps it’ll be an entirely new voice.

In the meantime, McCain’s spot will be filled by a series of guest co-hosts (like Jeopardy!) with conservative backgrounds. The full line-up of folks so far includes Mia Love, Condoleezza Rice, Carly Fiorina, Alyssa Farah, S.E. Cupp, Eboni K. Williams, Mary Katharine Ham, Cameran Eubanks and Gretchen Carlson.

Who is the first guest co-host of The View?

The first lady subbing in for Meghan McCain will be Mia Love, an American political commentator and politician who served as a U.S. Representative for Utah. Love was the first Black woman elected to congress as a Republican.
