Regé-Jean Page Joins Noah Hawley and the Russo Brothers’ Netflix Heist Film

Netflix and Joe and Anthony Russo‘s production company, AGBO, are teaming up for a new heist movie starring Bridgerton alum Regé-Jean Page.

The film will be written and directed by Noah Hawley, who’s known for TV series like Fargo and Legion. Page will executive produce alongside Angela Russo-Ostot. Plot details currently remain a secret, but is reportedly based on an original idea from Hawley.

This is Page’s second project with the Russo Bros., who directed him in the upcoming Netflix film The Gray Man (also starring Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, and Ryan Gosling).

“AGBO was originally founded to allow us to collaborate with artists we greatly respect and admire. We are very happy to continue to fulfill that pledge by supporting this new film from Noah Hawley and Regé-Jean Page,” AGBO President and Vice Chairman Mike Larocca said in a statement announcing the film.

Page rose to stardom for his Emmy-nominated role as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, on Shondaland’s Netflix series, Bridgerton. He’s since been cast in other high-profile projects, such as Paramount’s Dungeons and Dragons and the upcoming The Saint reboot.

Hawley previously made his feature directorial debut with 2019’s Lucy in the Sky, starring Natalie Portman.
