Halloween is synonymous with scary movies, spooky costumes, trick-or-treating, and, of course, an annual rewatch of the classic Peanuts special It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Debuting in 1966, Charles Schulz’s holiday staple follows Linus as he awaits the arrival of the elusive Great Pumpkin. Filled with memorable moments (“I got a rock”) and unforgettable quotes (“There are three things I’ve learned never to discuss with people: religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin”), Halloween is just a little more enjoyable after a visit from Charlie Brown and company.

The Great Pumpkin used to air on ABC, but the legendary special moved to Apple TV+ in 2020. How can you watch It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown online in 2021? Here’s everything you need to know.

WHEN IS THE CHARLIE BROWN HALLOWEEN SPECIAL ON TV IN 2021?

In previous years, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown has aired on ABC, but, sadly, that’s not the case in 2021. The seminal Halloween special is, however, available to stream on Apple TV+ and will air Sunday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET on PBS and PBS Kids.

HOW TO WATCH THE CHARLIE BROWN HALLOWEEN SPECIAL FOR FREE:

If you have a valid Apple TV+ subscription ($4.99/month), It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is now streaming on the platform. No Apple TV+? The service offers a seven-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Last year, Apple offered streamers the chance to watch the special for free from October 30 to November 1. We’ll update this article if Apple offers the same free trial in 2021.
