There’s…a lot happening in the trailer for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, but what would you really expect. It’s four freakin’ parts!
But the trailer starts out with Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne having a pre-reunion…gab sesh? Rinna is all “Fuck yeah!” Erika will be at the reunion, and Erika is all “I’m not a fuckin’ quitter,” and as if their alliance wasn’t already evident enough, Erika asks, “Remember when you called and said these girls have flipped on you?” And Rinna assures her, “Well that will come up at the reunion.”
Also bound to come up at the reunion? Rinna and Garcelle Beauvais working through (read: shouting about) their issues, and Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle doing the same, although the least of Sutton Stracke’s worries should be those “ugly leather pants” Crystal Kung Minkoff wore earlier in the season. Because at one point, Erika tells Sutton that “You were being a bitchy fucking c**t,” and…yowza.
Of course, Erika’s time is coming. Crystal questions her, Kyle Richards and Dorit are yelled at about comments their husbands made, and host Andy Cohen finally tells Erika, “We’re gonna put you on a skewer and I’m gonna fire up the barbeque.” We then see him ask a series of questions including on topics about money, affairs, and what she did or didn’t know and when. He accuses her of “manipulating the narrative” when it comes to her ex-husband Tom’s alledged cognitive failure, and it’s not until he asks her, “Have you asked him if he did it?” does she truly become speechless.
She’ll also shout at her “friends,” “Can someone please back me the fuck up on what I’m saying?” and it sure will be interesting to see who jumps to that request. Elsewhere throughout the four hours, Crystal details the threats and hate speech she’s encountered, Kathy Hilton brings handwritten notes, and Andy does his best to stifle a yawn while Dorit is talking.
So yeah…it’s a lot. From the trailer alone, this appears to be one of Andy’s all-time performances, despite the topic feeling gross and exhausting and sad at this point in the series, though maybe he will bring some much-needed relief and clarity to the whole thing. We shall see when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion begins next Wednesday, October 13 at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
