What happened on RPDR UK Season 3 Episode 3 ?

The episode started with the Findhr mini challenge wherein the queens dressed up in their best butch quick-drag and posed a masc man on the DL looking for a hookup. There was a lot going on, but Scarlett Harlett snatched the win and earned an advantage in the main challenge: she got to spend 15 more seconds sorting through a pile of camping equipment. And the main challenge? The queens had to put together a sickening runway look using nothing but camping supplies.

Krystal Versace was nervous at first since sewing isn’t her forte. River Medway, on the other hand, felt very much in her element (and she knew not to give others too much help). Unfortunately, Veronica Green focused too much on helping out her sisters and not enough on finishing her elaborate kite gown. And elsewhere in the Werk Room, sweet-natured weirdo Charity Kase bonded with sweet-natured princess Kitty Scott-Claus. Charity opened up about her HIV+ status and how she’s not only living, she’s undetectable and thriving. This is a friendship we did not expect but we love to see.

On the runway, the queens served two looks: one was a campy couture look and the other was the garment they whipped up in the Werk Room. The surprise stunner of the week was Scarlett Harlett, who made an elegant and expertly tailored evening gown out of a plaid picnic blanket. And paired with that hair and that mug? Come on! It was over for everyone else and she won the week.

Veronica’s sleeping bag look and sad butterfly moment did not impress the judges and she ended up in the bottom alongside Vanity Milan, who committed the sin of hot gluing stuff to a bodice. The two lip synced for their lives and, even though everyone was probably expecting a double save since Victoria Scone left the competition earlier in the episode… nope! Vanity won, leaving our comeback queen Veronica to sashay away.
