Your November just got a whole lot raunchier. Why? Because this week marks the premiere of Big Mouth Season 5.

Ever since the Netflix original first premiered in 2017, it’s delighted in grossing out audiences as it talks about the high and lows (but mostly lows) of puberty. But don’t let those hand job and pubic hair jokes fool you. There’s a lot of heart underneath even the most absurd moment. Here’s everything you need to know about how and when to watch Big Mouth Season 5.

When Will Big Mouth Season 5 Premiere?

If you play your cards right, you can be watching a new Saturday morning cartoon this weekend. The fifth season of Big Mouth premieres on Netflix this Friday, November 5. As usual, try not to watch it with any actual children unless you’re ready to answer some awkward questions.

What Time Will Big Mouth Season 5 Premiere?

There’s a good chance you already know the answer to this one. Since Big Mouth is a Netflix original, new episodes will premiere on Friday, November 5 at 3/2c a.m. Don’t see this 10-episode season appear right away? Who’s in the Cast of Big Mouth Season 5?

Your favorites are back. Nick Kroll (Nick, Maury, and Coach Steve), John Mulaney (Andrew), Jessi Klein (Jessi), Jason Mantzoukas (Jay), Maya Rudolph (Connie), and Jordan Peele (the Ghost of Duke Ellington) are all main cast members in Season 5. This season will also cement a major change up from last year. This will be the first installment that will see Ayo Edebiri play Missy for all 10 episodes instead of Jenny Slate. But don’t worry, Slate fans. She’s still very much in this new season, so listen out for her.

Those are the regulars, but what newcomers do we have? Since this new season will be all about love and hate, you better believe there are some new workers from Human Resources to torture these deranged children. Brandon Kyle Goodman and Pamela Adlon will guest star as Nick and Jessi’s lovebugs. Meanwhile, Keke Palmer will be spending this season planting rumors and causing mayhem as Missy’s very own hate worm.

Can I Get a Big Mouth Season 4 Recap?

There’s always a ton going on with Big Mouth, so as Connie as our witness, we know you need a refresher. Let’s start with Nick (Nick Kroll). After a season full of selfish behavior and constant anxiety thanks to Maria Bamford’s Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, Nick was pushed out of his body by Nick Starr, the soulless emotion-free cautionary tale of who Nick may become. There was a kaju battle and things got rough, but Nick’s friends ultimately helped him reclaim his body and go back to being an actual person instead of a husk. By the end of the season, Nick was back and he had a big crush on Jessi.

Speaking of, New York City didn’t agree with Jessi (Jessi Klein). She felt stupid at her new school and unsuccessful compared to her old friends, which is why she buried herself in her older boyfriend, Michelangelo. That was great news for the Depression Kitty (Jean Smart) and Tito. Jessi eventually broke up with the boy moved back to live with her dad, where she seems to be doing better.

While that was going on, Andrew (John Mulaney) had to deal with his anger at Nick for kissing his ex-girlfriend Missy. Oh, he also had to handle his shame for hooking up with his cousin in Florida. That’s pretty much par for the course for this kid. You know what wasn’t par for any course? Jay (Jason Mantzoukas) finding a girlfriend in Lola (Nick Kroll). Things were going great between these two walking disasters until Jay told Lola he loved her and she didn’t say it back. Oof. So now we’re in violent breakup central.

But the big story last year had to do with Missy. After hanging out with her cool cousins, Missy started to grapple with her identity as a Black woman. That resulted in a truly awesome makeover, a spot-on Us homage, and a new voice actor. As far as Missy is concerned, Jenny Slate is out and Ayo Edebiri is in.
