‘Stranger Things’: Eleven Moves to California in New Season 4 Teaser

It’s almost Spring Break for the kids of Hawkins in a new teaser trailer for Stranger Things Season 4. As a part of Netflix‘s “Stranger Things Day” today, the streamer dropped yet another new look at the highly anticipated fourth installation in the hit fantasy series, catching us up on Millie Bobby Brown‘s Eleven. Just like we’re counting down the days for Stranger Things 4, Eleven’s counting down the days until she can see Mike (Finn Wolfhard) again. Only a few days — er, more like months for us — to go!

This new season of Stranger Things will find our magical young heroine stranded in California. That’s right: both Eleven and Will (Noah Schnapp) are no longer in Indiana. In the teaser, she pens a letter to her midwestern sweetheart.

“Dear Mike, today is day 185,” Eleven begins in the trailer. “I think I have finally adapted. I even like school now. I have made lots of friends. Even so, I am ready for spring break — mostly because I get to see you. We will have the best spring break ever.”

Uh, that sounds debatable. Wherever Eleven goes, trouble follows, right? In the trailer, we get to see some hip roller skating, gun fights, scrunchies, helicopters landing in the desert, retro diners, and explosions. That’s right: best. Spring. Break. Ever.

This isn’t the first Stranger Things Season 4 trailer we’ve received, but it does feature the most exposition on our beloved characters. Netflix has dropped a few major teasers for the fourth season, including a look into the “Creel House” and a sneak peek at the return of Dr. Brenner. Just before Halloween, star Finn Wolfhard said that the upcoming episodes may be the scariest yet: “This season is like truly messed up, and it’s going to freak people out a lot.” Uh oh.

The new season of Stranger Things will drop on Netflix sometime in 2022. Scroll up to watch the new teaser for Stranger Things Season 4.
