In the middle of the drinking, partying, kissing, and snowboarding, Winter House on Bravo has also turned into a romantic comedy where we already know that the two friends end up together. But wow oh wow is it still fun to watch them fall for each other!
Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover and Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo are officially dating now, though they weren’t when they were housemates in Vermont earlier this year. So on the show, we see them hanging around as pals, though we can tell by those sly smiles that they are totally into each other. Despite Craig having his girlfriend Natalie at the time and Paige flirting with Andrea Denver, it was simply a matter of time before things worked out for these two.
Perhaps Craig even put it best when he revealed in the latest episode, “What’s funny is I used to have a big crush on Paige a couple of years ago when I met her at Kyle’s birthday, but she had a boyfriend and now I have a girlfriend. It’s that old bastard timing.”
Not that he didn’t do his part to maybe speed timing along. While Paige and Andrea were enjoying their winter wonderland date, Craig, no stranger to a bit of harmless gossip, tells his friends, “I was surprised to hear they were going on a date just ’cause if you can’t see a future with someone, I don’t know if going on a date is the best thing to do.” This is the first Lindsay Hubbard and Amanda Batula are hearing of this, so Craig continues, “He told me and Austen that he didn’t see a future with them and he really enjoys being single.” As he gestured to Austen Kroll, he also added, “But I don’t think they’re vibing like you and Ciara are. I don’t see anything long-term with them.” Of course you don’t because you see yourself with her long-term, silly!
When I spoke to Craig last month and asked if we’d see them falling for each other, he said, “What’s neat is you do get to see the entire process over the months, with all the shows, you really get to see us grow and become friends and then it becomes more than friends and I think we’re in a really good place and we’re happy.” It has been confirmed that Craig does stop by on the next season of Summer House and Paige will also pop up on the next season of Southern Charm, both expected to premiere next year.
