Lindsay Lohan Is Back In First Look at Netflix Holiday Rom-Com

Attention, Lindsay Lohan fans: Christmas came early. Today, Netflix released a first look photo of Lohan and Glee alum Chord Overstreet looking suitably cozy in their upcoming, holiday-themed romantic comedy. The movie is directed by Janeen Damian, and will be released on Netflix during the 2022 holiday season.

Here’s the official synopsis: “A newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”

Over the years, Netflix has bulked up its Christmas fare with films like The Princess Switch, A Christmas Prince, The Christmas Chronicles, and Jingle Jangle. But Lohan’s casting is particularly exciting given that the Parent Trap and Mean Girls star has largely steered clear of Hollywood over the past decade.

But first, could she pop up in the recently announced Bravo series The Real Housewives of Dubai? The 35-year-old actress currently lives in the city, and has been working on reality shows abroad for the last several years.

Real Housewives executive producer recently addressed rumors that Lohan will appear in the new show during an appearance on The Talk. When co-host Jerry O’Connell suggested that she join the series, Cohen replied, “Let me tell you something. It’s a good idea, Jerry.”

No matter what happens, at least we have a wild Lohan Netflix rom-com to look forward to next year. Check out the photo, below:
