The girls are back in town. Or rather, back in the city, because Sex and the City has returned with an HBO Max reboot. Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) are reunited in And Just Like That, which tracks the ladies as they grow older in New York City together. It’s a must-watch for all SATC fans, but I couldn’t help but wonder: how many episodes are there in And Just Like That?

As of now, there are ten episodes slated for HBO Max’s Sex and the City reboot. The first two episodes dropped today on the platform, but are new episodes dropping daily? Weekly? When, exactly, do new episodes hit the streamer? Keep reading.

If you’ve already streamed the first two episodes of And Just Like That and caught up with the girls, we know you’re ready for Episode 3. New episodes of And Just Like That premiere Thursdays at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. We’ll get new episodes of the reboot weekly, so the release schedule is as follows:

  • Episode 2, “Little Black Dress”: December 9
  • Episode 3, “When in Rome”: December 16
  • Episode 4, “Some of My Best Friends”: December 23
  • Episode 5, “Tragically Hip”: December 30
  • Episode 6, “Diwali”: January 6
  • Episode 7, “Sex and the Widow”: January 13
  • Episode 8, “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered”: January 20
  • Episode 9, “No Strings Attached”: January 27
  • Episode 10, “Seeing the Light”: February 3

The original Sex and the City debuted anywhere from 8 to 20 episodes per season on HBO, so is HBO Max really cutting us off at ten episodes? Or will this reboot follow suit with Gossip Girl and drop new episodes at a future date? Let’s take a look.

Will there be a Part 2 of And Just Like That?

Nope. Unlike Gossip Girl, And Just Like That won’t release new episodes until it’s renewed for Season 2 or it’s canceled, though the latter is pretty unlikely. Regardless, this is it, for now!

Where can I watch And Just Like That and Sex and the City?

You can watch And Just Like That on HBO Max, where the original Sex and the City is also streaming. If you have access to any sort of HBO account, you have HBO Max. If you’ve subscribed to HBO through your cable provider, just enter your cable username and password into HBO Max’s site or app to start watching. And if what about if you subscribed to HBO NOW back in the day? NOW is now Max, so just use the same information to log in and get streaming.

HBO Max has two plans available at the moment: for $9.99 a month you can watch the streaming service with ads, and $14.99 a month gets you HBO without ads. If you want a discount, pay for your plan yearly: the plan with ads costs $99.99 a year, and the one without is $149.99. Unfortunately, the streamer no longer offers a free trial for new users.
