Sandra Bullock stars in The Unforgivable, a dark and unrelenting film that is new on Netflix this weekend. In this drama, Bullock plays Ruth Slater, a former convict who has just been released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime. But as she re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past and a home that has become a place of severe judgment, she realizes that her only hope of redemption is to find her estranged sister that she was forced to leave behind. New on Hulu December 10: Crossing Swords Season 2

Huzzah! A new season of the Hulu-original dark animated comedy Crossing Swords is new on Hulu this weekend! This absurdly funny — and just plain absurd — animated series follows the adventures of a long-suffering squire named Patrick (Nicholas Hoult) as he attempts to climb the hierarchy of knighthood under the volatile King Merriman (Luke Evans). In Season 2, follow Patrick as he continues his uphill climb whilst making new friends, discovering new enemies and facing off against bloodthirsty leprechauns, an entire island of killer monkeys and many more situations that will surely scar Patrick for the rest of his life.

New on Amazon Prime Video December 10: Encounter

New on Prime Video this weekend is Encounter, a new sci-fi thriller that will leave you gripping the edge of your seat all movie long. Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) stars as Malik Khan, a decorated Marine who embarks on a dangerous mission to save his two estranged sons from a mysterious alien threat. But as the journey progresses and the stakes rise, the two young boys will have to grow up and put their childhoods behind them if they expect to survive; a decision that might ultimately bring the broken family back together. Also starring Octavia Spencer, Janina Gavankar, Rory Cochrane, Lucian-River Chauhan and more, Encounter is a film that will definitely abduct your attention this weekend.
