‘RHOBH’ Halts Filming as Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, and Garcelle Beauvais Test Positive for COVID

Mask up, Bravo fans, because COVID is getting serious again. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has halted production on Season 12 after Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, and Garcelle Beauvais have all tested positive for COVID-19. The poor RHOBH cast can’t catch a break!

TMZ was the first to report on the story, with sources stating that Rinna, Jayne, and Beauvais all tested positive late last week, along with one anonymous member of the crew. All symptoms have been “mild” so far, and each person has been vaccinated against COVID-19. Beauvais opened up about the news in a recent video posted to Instagram.

“A Monday morning update for you all. Thankful to be vaccinated and to not be showing symptoms,” she shared with the news. “Please comment below with alllll the TV & movie recommendations for the next 10 days. I love you all!!”

In the video, she updates her fans: “I found out that I tested positive for COVID. I feel okay. I’m sure I will continue to feel okay,” she says. “My boys are being tested, so far they’ve tested negative and we’re going to continue testing them.”

Rinna hasn’t shared an official update as of this writing, but she did upload a video of Kevin from Home Alone spilling his groceries on the sidewalk with the caption “Mood.”

According to TMZ, the series will be on a brief hiatus for just a few weeks, and will reevaluate everything later on. Everyone will be tested multiple times before coming back to work, which was reportedly already happening.

Last year, RHOBH faced a similar dilemma. Kyle Richards, Kathy Hilton, and Dorit Kemsley all tested positive. Now, there’s a new batch of folks who will have to quarantine and battle the disease.

Stay tuned for more updates about the RHOBH cast, as well as any updates we may hear about the upcoming Season 12 of the hit Bravo reality series.
