New on Netflix December 17: The Witcher Season 2

After an infuriatingly-long two-year wait, The Witcher Season 2 is new on Netflix this weekend. Henry Cavill returns as Geralt of Rivia, the titular monster-hunting witcher who is trying to find his place in the magical, monster-filled world of which he is part. However, this new season will follow Geralt as he is forced to do what he spent all of the first season trying to avoid doing: making connections with people. But will the new relationships this former lone wolf forges strengthen his missions, or will their different goals and values put the witcher in a vulnerable position? Undoubtedly, this season will be filled with even more drama, action, incredible magic and even more incredible beings, making The Witcher one of the top shows on Netflix this month.

New on Hulu December 17: Mother/Android

New on Hulu this weekend is Mother/Android, a thrilling new film that will never allow you to trust Alexa or Siri ever again. This sci-fi epic takes place in the near future — a future in which humans have waged war against artificial intelligence. In it, expecting couple Georgia (Chloë Grace Moretz) and Sam (Algee Smith) attempt to make an escape to the safe haven that is Boston, by way of No Man’s Land. But as they make the two-week trek, are the people they see humans or androids? Mother/Android will leave your heart pounding, adrenaline spiking and your mind considering turning off all smart devices for the next 24 hours.
