Netflix is coming out to play this weekend with great options on both the tv and movie fronts: after much anticipation, Ozark is back for its fourth and final season while Munich — The Edge of War is ready to add some drama to an already-dramatic time in history. Over on Hulu, the struggles of overcoming addiction are put through a comedic lens in the new series, Single Drunk Female. New on Netflix January 21: Ozark Season 4 Part 1

Buckle up for a wild ride along the river, folks, because another season of Ozark is new on Netflix this weekend. The fourth and final season of this Emmy-winning Netflix-original crime drama catches up with the Byrde family as they forge past the “explosive” events of the Season 3 finale and try to leave their dark sides behind. But after years of Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) embroiling themselves in the dark criminal underworld of the Ozarks, will they be able to say goodbye to the lakeside community and the people they have become there, or will the Ozarks pull them under for good? New on Netflix January 21: Munich — The Edge of War

Also new on Netflix this weekend is Munich — The Edge of War: a historical drama for the ages. Based on the 2017 Robert Harris novel of the same name, the film is set in autumn 1938, just as Hitler is about to invade Czechoslovakia and the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain is desperately seeking peace. With pressure building, old friends Hugh Legat, British civil servant, and Paul von Hartmann, German diplomat, travel to Munich for the emergency Conference. But as discussions commence, the two friends find themselves enmeshed in a web of political subterfuge and danger. The whole world is watching; so, can war be averted? We all know what happens, but watch it all go down in Munich — The Edge of War.

New on Hulu January 21: Single Drunk Female

Debuting on Freeform — and new on Hulu this weekend — is Single Drunk Female, a comedy series about a woman who is trying not to get sober. Sofia Black-D’Elia (Gossip Girl, Your Honor) stars as Samantha Fink, a young adult living in New York City who, after being fired from her job for being drunk, is subsequently arrested for reckless assault. Samantha opts to go through 30 days of rehab and moves home with her overbearing mother. Returning to her quintessential hometown turns out to be more triggering than originally expected, but when this enthusiastic drinker is given the choice of sobriety or prison, she reluctantly embarks on a journey to recovery. As We See It is an eight-part dramedy series new on Amazon Prime Video this weekend. It follows three 20-something roommates all on the autism spectrum, as they strive to make friends, get jobs and fall in love. Watch Jack (Rick Glassman), Harrison (Albert Rutecki) and Violet (Sue Ann Pien) do their best to achieve their individual goals with help from family and friends along the way in this fascinating and meaningful series.
