After taking a rare week off following testing positive for COVID-19, Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts virtually returned to the ABC show this morning, calling in from her home studio in Connecticut.

“Michael, Cecilia, and I are so happy to welcome Robin back from home,” co-anchor George Stephanopoulos said as Roberts appeared beside them.

“I strive to be a positive person,” she said. “I have never been so thankful to be and test negative as I did yesterday and this morning.”

While Roberts’ symptoms were luckily quite mild, she took a moment to thank the people around her for their support.

“Thank the three of you for your sweet text messages, hearing from the ABC family, the GMA, who’re incredible, viewers really lifted my spirits,” she added. “That and all the chicken soup that was sent my way.”

Ahead of her appearance on today’s broadcast, Roberts announced her return via social media, sharing one of her morning wisdom videos.

She gave viewers a peek at her dog, Lukas, while reading her morning prayers and expressing gratitude that her partner, Amber Laign, never tested positive.

“Grateful for all the love and support! Bless you all,” Roberts captioned the video. “And thankful to be back on GMA from my home studio. Here’s a little #WednesdayWisdom for you.”

Good Morning America airs weekdays from 7:00-9:00 a.m. ET on ABC.
