It’s the process of working through that trauma that The Fallout, a new movie coming to HBO Max this weekend, hopes to address.
Written and directed by Megan Park, the drama stars Jenna Ortega as a high school student named Vada Cavell who navigates the emotional fallout of a shooting at her school. Also starring Maddie Ziegler, Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen, John Ortiz, Niles Fitch, and Will Ropp, The Fallout promises to be an empathetic and moving account of a heavy, sobering subject.
