Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union Juggle Family Chaos In the First Trailer For Disney+’s ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ Reboot

A brand-new Cheaper by the Dozen family is headed to Disney+. Today, the streamer released the first trailer for its upcoming “fresh take” on the 2003 family comedy of the same name, this time starring Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union.

The two actors play Paul and Zoey, two parents juggling the chaos of raising their blended family of 12 with managing their family business.

“I really feel like there were a few extra children in there,” Zoey remarks after one hectic morning, to which Paul replies, “I didn’t recognize some of them.”

Sure, the kids of the latest Cheaper by the Dozen can master TikTok dances and name-check RuPaul. But from the looks of this trailer, the reboot is shaping up to feature as many hectic yet heartwarming family shenanigans as ever.

Other Cheaper by the Dozen cast members include Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, and Aryan Simhadri. The film is directed by Gail Lerner with a screenplay by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Grown-ish executive producer Jennifer Rice-Genzuk Henry. Barris is producing, with Shawn Levy, Union, Brian Dobbins, and Donald J. Lee serving as executive producers.

Cheaper by the Dozen premieres Friday, March 18, on Disney+. Scroll up to watch the official trailer.
