Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber

If you’re a fan of Billions, Showtime’s newest series Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber might just be for you.

The first installment of Showtime’s Super Pumped anthology, the new series chronicles the rise and fall of former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Billions) and based on Mike Isaac’s 2019 book of the same name, the fast-paced dialogue and breakneck pop culture references will remind you of a verbal jousting session between Chuck and Axe. Also starring Kyle Chandler, Kerry Bishe, Elisabeth Shue, and Babak Tafti (and narrated by Quentin Tarantino), the anthology series has already been renewed for Season 2, with the second installment focusing on Facebook.

Super Pumped premieres tonight (February 27) at 10:00 p.m. ET on Showtime. An encore presentation airs at 11:00 p.m. ET.

The new series stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. The show also features Kyle Chandler, Kerry Bishe, Elisabeth Shue, Babak Tafti, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Hank Azaria (as Tim Cook), and Uma Thurman as Arianna Huffington.

The first season of the series is narrated by Quentin Tarantino.

Nope. While anything could eventually happen, there are no plans for the series to drop on Netflix in the foreseeable future.
