Chaos reigned throughout Love Is Blind Season 2, and things haven’t exactly calmed down offscreen. Take Abishek “Shake” Chatterjee’s Instagram, for example. On March 7, the controversial contestant shared a since-deleted post slamming host Nick Lachey for his “impartial” moderating skills at last Friday’s cast reunion.
For context: Throughout the reunion special, Shake tried to defend his behavior on the show, from the ways in which he judged women’s physical appearances to his decision to tell pretty much everyone he wasn’t attracted to ex-fiancée Deepti Vempati. In the process, he got into it with Nick, who told the veterinarian and DJ: “I can see why you don’t treat human beings.”
“You put a doctor on the show… of course and you were going to see some critical thinking,” Shake wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Speaking of which, @nicklachey, you’re a massive twat for your comment dragging vets. You do realize that becoming a veterinarian [is] considerably more difficult than becoming a human doc right?”
The reality star continued: “Also, consider learning how to be an impartial host before the Season 3 reunion airs. Sorry I didn’t play along with your narrative like the rest of those puppets. Say hi to @vanessalachey for me.”
And the drama doesn’t stop there! On his Instagram Story, Shake claimed that his post “got taken down” shortly after it was posted.
“Censor much?” he wrote, sharing an article featuring his comments.
So, will reality TV’s newest villain write a tell-all? Ride his Netflix fame into the sunset? Something tells me we haven’t seen the last of this aspiring DJ.
The first two seasons of Love Is Blind are now streaming on Netflix.
