Pete Davidson Won’t Appear In Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians’ — For Now, At Least

Hulu‘s upcoming reality series The Kardashians promises to follow the famous family through major life events, from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s divorce to Tristan Thompson’s paternity drama. But one new player who won’t make an appearance? Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, who has been romantically linked to Kim since November.

In a new Variety profile, Kim publicly addressed her relationship with Pete for the first time, revealing that he won’t pop up on her new reality show — not right now, at least.

“I have not filmed with him,” she said when asked whether the SNL actor will appear. “And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”

Kim is currently embroiled in a very public divorce from Kanye, who has persistently harassed her online, and even depicted Pete’s murder in his new music video “Eazy.” However, he’ll still appear in early episodes of The Kardashians, and remain a major presence in the series as a whole.

“Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy,” Kim told Variety. “But I do believe in handling it all privately… I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on a TV show. That’s just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good.”

The Kardashians premieres Thursday, April 14 on Hulu.
