‘Killing Eve’ Exclusive Clip: Eve And Hélène Have a Tense Lunch Date

Things on Killing Eve are heating up – but not between Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer)… At least not yet. Instead, the focus seems to have shifted to a new, simmering duo: Eve, and Hélène (Camille Cottin), who are on a very tense lunch date in Decider’s exclusive clip from this week’s new episode.

Though fans who subscribe to AMC+ have already seen where this is going (episodes drop a week early on the streaming service), in the scene Hélène, who is both part of the villainous organization The Twelve and hunting them down, has invited Eve out to a West End theater she owns for a little light lunch.

“So,” says Eve casually while Hélène eats the last bits of what looks like chocolate pudding out of a glass container. “When’s the show start?”

“I own this,” Hélène says back. Apparently, she loved seeing shows in the theater so much as a child, her father bought it for her. This, naturally, irks Eve, who was not born in privilege like Hélène.

The dynamic quickly turns, though, when Eve throws out the name of a member of The Twelve she’s been tracking down: Lars Meyer. This immediately panics Hélène, which was exactly Eve’s intention. But she’s not done yet. “Fernanda seems lovely, by the way,” Eve continues, dropping the name of Hélène’s ex-girlfriend/mark, who Eve plugged for info last episode.

“My, my,” Hélène finally responds. “Your brain is like a hamster on a wheel. It must be exhausting.”
