Where to Watch ‘CODA’ on Streaming

CODA might just be one of the most polarizing Best Picture Oscar contenders in recent years. The film centers on a young woman named Ruby (Emilia Jones), the only hearing member of a deaf family from Gloucester, MA. Ruby, a high school senior, is about to graduate high school and dreams of attending the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston, but her ties to her family and their fishing business mean that she has some choices to make about her future.

Sian Heder’s film was a critical favorite when it was first released, and has been the recipient of several major awards including top prizes at the Writers Guild, Producers Guild, and Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the BAFTA award for Adapted Screenplay. But, as with most films, it also has its fair share of detractors (as well as some supporters who love it but don’t think it deserves Best Picture).

As momentum for the film builds and Oscar completists scramble to finish watching all of the nominated films before the ceremony on Sunday (CODA‘s been nominated for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur), we can tell you exactly where CODA is streaming.
