Have you heard the news? Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew are returning to Grey’s Anatomy! It was announced last week that Williams and Drew, who portrayed Jackson Avery and April Kepner on the long-running medical drama from 2009 to 2021, are both set to return for the show’s season finale, currently scheduled to air Thursday, May 26 on ABC.
Four episodes remain before the aforementioned season finale. The last new episode of Grey’s, Season 18, Episode 15: “Put It to the Test,” aired April 7, 2022 on ABC. Is the show finally about to return with new episodes? Short answer… not exactly.
