Will There Be a ‘Workin’ Moms’ Season 7 on Netflix?

Will There Be a Workin’ Moms Season 7?

Officially? Workin’ Moms has yet to be renewed for a Season 7. Unofficially? It seems like a new season is happening. On its website, the Directors Guild of Canada has a page dedicated to the directors and managers for Season 7.

There’s also a promising tweet. In April of this year, the official Workin’ Moms account promoted the Season 6 finale when it aired in Canada. Soon after sending that post, the account sent out a second post to clarify that the episode was a season finale, not the series finale. There are probably a few contracts and details that still need to be ironed out, but so far all signs point to Workin’ Moms Season 7 happening.

When Will Workin’ Moms Season 7 Premiere?

Technically, we don’t have an official Season 7 renewal announcement or a release date. But we do have something that’s almost as good: this show’s history.

Workin’ Moms premiered its first episode on CBC Television in January of 2017. Less than a year later in December of 2017, the comedy aired Season 2. Ever since then, the series has followed a fairly predictable yearly release schedule. New seasons usually start during the first few months of the year before wrapping up in either March or April. Based on that timeline, if Season 7 does happen we can likely expect it to premiere in 2023. After all, these are career women we’re talking about. They know how to stick to deadlines.

When Will Workin’ Moms Season 7 Be on Netflix?

Because Workin’ Moms is a Canadian show, they get dibs on the new material. So when can non-Canadian audiences expect new Workin’ Moms? Season 6 aired its last episode on CBC on April 12, 2022. Roughly a month later, on May 10, the entire season dropped on Netflix. Due to this history, we can likely expect Season 7 to end in Canada around March or April of 2023 before coming to the U.S. in April or May.
