Stephen King stories are the gift that keeps on giving to Hollywood. This weekend, King’s 1980 novel Firestarter is once again getting a movie adaptation, with Firestarter (2022), which will serve as a reboot of the 1984 Firestarter starring a young Drew Barrymore.

This time around, Ryan Kiera Armstrong stars as Charlie, a little girl with big abilities. When Charlie’s parents (played by Zac Efron and Sydney Lemmon) realize that their daughter can light things on fire with her mind, they vow to keep her safe and secret from prying government eyes. After all, Charlie promises she won’t hurt anyone… as long as they’re not mean to her.

It’s a classic Stephen King horror-thriller that’s sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. And the best part? It’s going to be streaming on Peacock on the same day it opens in theaters. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Firestarter and what time Firestarter will be on Peacock.

HOW TO WATCH FIRESTARTER 2022 ON PEACOCK:

You can stream Firestarter on Peacock Premium beginning on Friday, May 13. You can sign up for Peacock Premium to watch Firestarter with ads for $4.99 a month, or you can sign up for Peacock Premium Plus to watch Firestarter without ads for $9.99 a month. Both tiers will give you access to the movie. However, you will not be able to watch Firestarter on the free version of Peacock.

While there used to be a 7-day free trial for Peacock Premium, unfortunately, the streamer has ended its free trial service. So you’ll either need to cough up the cash or get a login from a friend.

Firestarter will begin streaming on Peacock Premium the same day it opens in theaters: Friday, May 13.

WHAT TIME WILL FIRESTARTER BE ON PEACOCK? FIRESTARTER 2022 PEACOCK RELEASE TIME:

Based on previous Universal theatrical movie releases on Peacock, Firestarter should be available to stream on Peacock Premium at 12 a.m. ET on May 13, or 9 p.m. PT on May 12. That means if you’re on the west coast, you’ll be able to watch Firestarter as early as Thursday night on May 12.
