Benny Lets Jamie Have It In This Exclusive ‘Below Deck Down Under’ Clip: “I Will Not Be Disrespected”

Tomorrow will bring another all-new episode of Peacock’s hit Below Deck Down Under, but here is a sneak peek at some of the yachtie drama for fans who can’t wait. In Episode 12 entitled, “Yachtie Or Nice?,” the deck team continues to be in the hot seat. Captain Jason Chambers has given Bosun Jamie Sayed a verbal warning after discovering trash bags, leaking with garbage and maggots, that had been missed during cleanup in the yacht’s stern, and Captain Jason is carefully monitoring crew performance.

Last episode, tensions flared between deckhands Brittini Burton and Benny Crawley after Benny tried to get the charter guests to do some late-night fishing. Benny’s goal was to make Brittini’s shift as difficult as the one Benny dealt with last charter. Hurt that Benny would try to make her job harder, Brittini went to Jamie to ask him to speak to Benny about his petty behavior.

This exclusive clip begins with Brittini asking Jamie if he had the conversation with Benny yet because Benny told her there was “drama this morning.” “He’s just a fucking dickhead,” Jamie vents to Brittini as he promises to give Jamie an ultimatum: deal with him or deal with Captain Jason.

Brittini speaks directly to the camera as she sums up the dynamics at play: “Benny isn’t really great at listening, Jamie’s not good at communicating. Benny’s really emotional, Jamie disregards any sense of emotion. This is not ending well.”

And indeed she’s right! Benny walks over to Jamie and Jamie lays it out: “I’ve already had a chat with the Captain. He kind of wants a meeting, but I’m gonna not have it if we can get along.” Benny interjects: “I’ve been trying to get along. Will you listen to me afterwards?”

When Jamie tasks offense at the interruption, Benny accusing him of “talking at him” and loses his temper: “Please stop trying to lead me by intimidation. I’m not intimidated by you!” Jamie begins to protest, but Benny barrels on: “I will not be disrespected anymore and you will take your foot off my head, do you understand?”

By the fed-up expression on Jamie’s face, this verbal confrontation could very well mark the end of Benny’s time aboard the Thalassa! Tune in to see how this volatile situation unfolds.
