When Will ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 19 Premiere on ABC?

Later tonight, the 400th episode of Grey’s Anatomy will air on ABC. I mean… wow. 400. For comparison, the classic Tim Daly/Steven Weber ’90s sitcom Wings, which ran for eight season on NBC, only produced 172 episodes. The old Hollywood saying is “if you can double up Wings, you must be doing something right.”

The Season 18 finale of Grey’s Anatomy airs tonight (May 26) from 8:00-10:01 p.m. ET on ABC. The episode will be available for next-day streaming on both Hulu and ABC.com beginning Friday, May 27.

You better believe it. Back in January, ABC renewed their long-running medical drama for a nineteenth season. And, yes, Ellen Pompeo will be back!

WHEN WILL GREY’S ANATOMY SEASON 19 PREMIERE ON ABC?

*** UPDATE (6/23/22): Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 premieres Thursday, October 6, 2022 on ABC. ***

ABC has yet to release an official Season 19 premiere date, but 16 of the last 17 seasons of the series debuted in late September (and the delayed season was due to the pandemic). With the show’s previous release schedule in mind, we expect Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 to premiere in late September of 2022 (most likely either September 22 or September 29).
