What happened on RPDR All Stars 7 Episodes 1-2 ?

The premiere episode gave us a major twist in the form of the Legendary Legend Star. This time around, no queen is going home! Instead, all eight winners will compete the entire season in the hopes of being one of two queens per episode to receive a Legendary Legend Star. At the end of the season, the four queens with the most stars will all lip sync for the $200,000 prize. The premiere also gave us a Drag Race staple: the queens all wrote and recorded a verse for RuPaul’s new single “Legends” — and they knocked out some choreo for the whole thing, too. On the runway, category was I’m Crowning and all eight queens gave us regal realness. The judges had a hard time finding anything wrong with anyone’s anything, but Monét X Change and Shea Couleé managed to be better than the rest and each earned a star. Shea won the lip sync, the $10,000 tip, and she blocked Trinity the Tuck from potentially winning a star next week.

Speaking of next week, it dropped at the same time! In the second episode, all the queens had to knock two Snatch Game performances out of the park in order to win a star. Again, every single queen shined in at least one Snatch Game (but most of them killed it twice!). The standouts were Trinity the Tuck, who played a gay AF Lucifer and an even gayer Leslie Jordan, and Jinkx Monsoon, who gave us Natasha Lyonne and an instantly iconic Judy Garland. Trinity didn’t get a star (thanks to Shea blocking her), but she did lip sync against Jinkx for the tip. Jinkx took it, though, and got a star, the tip, and then she blocked Shea. What goes around comes around!
