Will There Be A ‘Bosch: Legacy’ Season 2 on Amazon Freevee?

We’ve recently been gifted with a slew of wildly entertaining shows. Better Call Saul continues to keep us on the edge of our seats (the show returns in July with the final six episodes), HBO’s Barry is non-stop excitement, and Hacks has avoided the sophomore slump with yet another spectacular season of television. Are we forgetting anyone?

Amazon Freevee’s Bosch: Legacy is an enthralling continuation of the franchise, earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The final two episodes of the season recently dropped on Amazon, so, naturally, fans are wondering about a potential second season. Will there be a second season of Bosch: Legacy on Amazon Freevee? Here’s everything we know.

HAS BOSCH: LEGACY BEEN RENEWED FOR SEASON 2?

Amazon is all in on Bosch. Earlier this month, Variety reported that Bosch: Legacy had already been renewed for a second season.

“It was easy to greenlight the second season of Bosch: Legacy after execs saw the 10-episode first season,” Amazon Freevee’s Co-Head of Content and Programming Ryan Pirozzi said. “We’re ecstatic with the new show.”

DO WE KNOW THE BOSCH: LEGACY SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE?

Not yet. But based on the previous series, we have a pretty good idea of when to expect new episodes.

WHEN WILL BOSCH: LEGACY SEASON 2 PREMIERE ON AMAZON FREEVEE?

No official release date has been announced, but we’re going to do our best Bosch impression to try and figure out a Season 2 release date. Seasons 3-6 of Bosch all debuted about a year apart from each other, with the seventh season slightly delayed (about 14 months after the sixth season) due to the global pandemic.

Thanks to the early renewal and the veteran savvy of the Bosch production team, we expect Bosch: Legacy Season 2 to premiere on Amazon Freevee in mid 2023, with our best guess being March-May of 2023. Decider will update this story with any new developments.
