Will Donald Trump Appear At January 6 Committee Hearings?

The question you all have been waiting for… Will Donald Trump be at the hearings?? As of right now, the answer is: probably not. The focus of these initial hearings, according to the NY Times, are testimony from Nick Quested, a documentary filmmaker who was embedded with group the Proud Boys and Caroline Edwards, a Capitol police officer who was injured in the attack.

There will be recorded testimony broadcast that could include previously interviewed Trump family members like Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Donald Trump Jr. However, the former President has not been interviewed by the committee, and is not currently scheduled to premiere.

That said, Donald Trump is, as always, unpredictable, so who knows what will happen? We’ll just have to watch live to find out.
