11 Best New Shows on Netflix: July 2022’s Top Upcoming Series to Watch

Netflix is seriously sizzling with their list of new content available this July that will make for a spectacular month of summer streaming. While it’s always hard to say goodbye to the titles leaving Netflix, you won’t be feeling down for long once you get a good look at the impressive array of Netflix Original series coming to the platform to take their place. With everything from brand new titles to long-awaited continuations of fan favorites, Netflix’s diverse and delightful July 2022 premieres is sure to have something for everyone.

The streamer is set to help you celebrate the new month with premieres from highly-anticipated new episodes of hit shows across several different genres (so there’s truly something for everyone) like Stranger Things and Virgin River.

While the list of July’s top shows features these exciting continuations of more established titles, the majority of our list consists of brand new shows streaming exclusively on Netflix for the first time starting this month. Keep an eye out in particular for Boo Bitch, Resident Evil, Uncoupled, and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, all very different shows that are united by their high likelihood of being major stand-outs for the summer streaming season.

Though it’s only two episodes, they’re going to be jam-packed with action and answers regarding everything from the mystery of Vecna to who lives and who dies thanks to a one-hour penultimate episode and hefty two and a half hour-long season finale. Get your tissues ready, people, because Volume 2 seems poised to deliver a whole spectrum of emotion as the lauded series closes off Season 4 with a bang (and maybe also some epic electric guitar playing).

Based on the popular Japanese video game series of the same name, this Netflix Original action-horror reminds us that while the coronavirus pandemic sure is awful, it could always be worse (which is perhaps weirdly comforting? You tell us).

Featuring moving exclusive interviews with multiple women and men who fell victim to Moore, as well as from the crusaders and members of law enforcement who worked to take the titular most hated man on the internet down, this incredible three-part series shows that in the end, true revenge is best served by a mother fighting tooth and nail to protect her child.

'Uncle From Another World'

DESCRIPTION: Based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, Uncle from Another World follows a 17 year-old named Takafumi (Fukuyama), whose uncle (Koyasu) has just awoken from a 17-year-long coma, and immediately starts speaking in an unfamiliar language, claiming that he has just returned from another world. While Takafumi (and everyone everyone him) initially finds his uncle to be crazy or merely confused, he soon realizes that his uncle really has come back from another dimension after demonstrating some newfound magic powers. But even with Takafumi on his side, Ojisan has a steep uphill battle when it comes to re-integrating into and being able to survive in a version of Japan he no longer recognizes or understands.
