When Will ‘The Boys’ Season 4 Be on Amazon?

That’s a wrap on Season 3 of The Boys. The incredibly popular Amazon superhero series once again delivered an exceptional season of strange, delirious mayhem, even earning a spot on Decider’s “Best TV Shows of June” list. The season finale just dropped on Amazon, but fans want… scratch that… need to know when The Boys will return for Season 4.

What can you watch while you wait for new episodes? Decider suggests The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, reruns of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia because that show is as rewatchable as all get-out, and Peacemaker on HBO Max. But let’s get back to business, shall we? When will The Boys Season 4 arrive on Amazon? Here’s everything we know.

WILL THERE BE A SEASON 4 OF THE BOYS ON AMAZON?

You better believe it. Back in June, Amazon renewed the series for a fourth season.

“Speaking for the cast and crew, we’re so grateful to Sony, Amazon, and most of all the fans for embracing the show and allowing us to make more,” Eric Kripke, The Boys showrunner, said in a release provided to Decider. “We’re thrilled to continue Butcher and the Boys’ fight against Homelander and the Seven, as well as comment on the insane world we’re living in. Also, this is the first time in history that exploding genitalia has led to further success.”

WHEN WILL THE BOYS SEASON 4 BE ON AMAZON?

There’s no official release date for the fourth season, but based on recent history we have an idea of when to expect new episodes. The second season of The Boys debuted about 13 months after the Season 1 finale, with the third season premiere delayed due to Covid.

• Season 1 Release Date: July 26, 2019
• Season 2 Release Date: September 4, 2020
• Season 3 Release Date: June 3, 2022

During a recent interview with Collider, Karl Urban revealed that the fourth season of the series would begin shooting in August of 2022. With that in mind and based on the show’s history, we expect Season 4 of The Boys to premiere in mid to late 2023, with our best guess being August or September of 2023. Decider will update this story with any new information.
