Where Was ‘Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between’ Filmed?

If you’re looking for cute date ideas, you may want to watch Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between on Netflix for inspiration.

Most of the movie takes place over the course of one epic date-filled day, as Aidan (played by Jordan Fisher) takes his girlfriend Clare (played by Talia Ryder) on one final romantic day together before they officially break up and head off to college. It’s been the plan since they started dating—Clare never wanted a boyfriend for her first year of college.

Aidan pulls out all the stops for Clare: A musical festival, a rented-out ice rink, a boat ride on a picturesque lake, a romantic dinner, and a recreation of the prom night that Clare missed. It’s all so perfect, that you may want to recreate some of these dates yourself in real life.

But for that, you need to know where Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between was filmed. Read on to learn more about the Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between filming locations.

Where was ‘Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between’ filmed?

Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between was filmed in Canada, specifically in Vancouver, British Columbia. In late 2020, the production was spotted filming at White Pine Beach in Belcarra, no doubt for those beautiful scenes of Aidan and Clare boating and swimming at the lake.

According to director Michael Lewen’s Instagram, the movie began production in February 2020, and wrapped in November 2020, and no doubt was forced to shut down for the COVID-19 pandemic surge. That’s a pretty cold time of year to be swimming in a Canadian lake!

“It was not only a summer film in the fall in Vancouver, which is a very cold, wet and rainy season, we did it all at the peak of COVID,” said Fisher in an interview with Collider.

Said Ryder in the same interview, “Those water scenes were wild. We were freezing.”

But it paid off because they look beautiful on screen. If you’re looking to recreate the magic, you can always pay a visit to White Pine Beach in Vancouver—just be prepared for a crowd. You only get a private date on the lake if you’re in a Hollywood movie.
